A Very Social Friday
Oct. 22nd, 2021 11:00 pmI walked with M.
D. came over and had lunch with us and then hung out until around 4. He walked over to the school and back with R. I left slightly earlier and they tagged alone. It was a very pleasant day. We had the pork tenderloin, the squash soup, a salad, air fryer root veg (carrot, potato and radish — radish turns out to be an awesome part of a root veg mix, and boy did we have a lot of radish this week. Not anymore, tho!), bok choy and escarole, and green beans. D. brought some chocolate over — fancy chocolate! Dark chocolate with caramel center (not for me!) and dark chocolate with bacon bits. Novel! Also, very tasty, because it was subtle. He also brought cheese for R. (I requested when he asked what he could bring; he’s a foodie and he finds incredible stuff that we would otherwise probably never discover on our own.)
I had a delightful phone convo with K., and briefly with her daughter R.
Fancy Friday was also very fun.
