R. went kayaking. His used kayak he has been repairing the holes in did not leak, so, yay! Something needs to happen with the pedals that control the rudder, because apparently that is not working correctly.
I made a second round of marmalade today. I used the blender this time. I am letting it cool, so I’m not yet sure whether it set up correctly yet or not.
I walked with M.
Last night I watched Shazam. That was kind of weird. J. had told me it was a romp, so I was surprised it was a bit dark. It was relatively enjoyable, however, certainly — sadly — better than Aquaman, altho nowhere near as good as the Wonder Woman movies. The post-credit bits were exceptional. It was fun to see the use of the electrically activated privacy glass in the Sivana Board room. Sivana is a really unfortunate name — it sounds like a mashup of Sephora and Teavana, and not in a good way. Very odd for a Bad Guy Family name.

The order of legos to make the Emperor Penguin MOC arrived! I — and this is not surprising — made some sort of error when sorting out the pieces I already had, but I was able to recover with either nothing visible wrong with the build, or so subtle that it is unlikely to be noticed. So, yay! Here’s hoping the Discworld goes this well — I foresee having to order a second round of legos to correct for other mistakes I likely made that will be harder to recover from.
