One of the last things I did before we all stopped doing much of anything at all, was our usual Saturday routine: martial arts, second breakfast at Vic’s.

Puzzlescape closed up shop during the pandemic (altho we did a couple virtual escape rooms before that happened, which were delightful). We’ve been back to the Horseshoe for patio dining (and T. has been back for indoor dining).
This evening — about an hour from now — I’ll be going back to Less Than Greater Than, for a double date with the B.’s.
(It’s entirely possible that this was the last time we were at the Speakeasy: https://walkitout.dreamwidth.org/1771883.html).
It’s always the first day of the rest of our lives, but today felt like a very different sort of First Day. I wish everyone who is approaching Their Date for going back to doing the things they stopped doing for over a year — and everyone who is days or weeks or months past their date — a glorious time.
