Thursday: walk, more decluttering
Feb. 18th, 2021 11:58 amToday, A. and I went through her closet. That generated another three bags AND we found three pairs of lounge pants that fit really well now (they did not fit well the last time we tried them on). And there was space in her pants drawer for them.
I walked with M.
T. tried to arrange more swimming today (still haven't washed the swim stuff from yesterday -- it's in the washer now), and I lost it. I shared the login credentials with him and R. and went on a walk. This was supposed to be a only one day with the sitter week, due to the weather, and instead, he has already gone bowling, swimming, and snow tubing. We had to rescue him once, and one day I had to deliver him to the sitter. It is bonkers. Where's the fucking weather that prevented us from planning but did not prevent us from dealing with a chaotic, overpacked schedule? He is, fortunately, on board with helping with housework later today, altho that means my already emotionally fragile and cognitively overloaded self will need to manage that, too.
This was the first week I set up the zoom for M.'s mom's zoom. Which I should have pre-emptively asked if people even wanted to do it, because it is vacation week and sensible mom's sleep in during vacation week if they are not on Maui. But no. I got up at 8:30 am, took a shower so my hair wouldn't be a total disaster, and then no one showed up. *sigh* I am reminded once again of why I am such a control freak. This whole wait and see what other people do and respond to it is complete and utter bullshit.
