I walked with M. We are back to our usual routine of walking (I still am complying with Mass law and wearing my mask outdoors, because it is freaking cold anyway and that keeps my face warm) and then having a snack indoors while chatting. Tomorrow, T. will get to hang out with the sitter. The bliss of “ordinary” pandemic routines. *sigh*
I went out after dark to try for an outdoor walk, but realized that while snow had melted during the day, it was in the process of refreezing in an extremely unsafe way. I decided to do 3 1 mile loops instead of 1 3 mile loop. Unbelievably boring. Oh well! I had a nice chat with my sister.
All the holiday legos are done. T. did the 3 pack of brick headz yesterday, and I finished the Elf Clubhouse, which means I am back on the lego website eying the things that are not yet for sale. Super sad. I may wind up dis-assembling Mos Eisley and sending it to a friend whose order got lost, just to have something to do. I tried to download the building instructions for a tiny Millenium Falcon ($10) that will go on sale in January, and it says they are not ready yet. I was gonna build it out of parts I have here, because it looks like I probably could, based on the picture. My addictions are really odd.
I took a nice, 45 minute nap.
Imperfect Foods arrived and I did the customization for next week.
R. picked up the order from Roche Bros.
R. cooked a package of chicken wings.
R. rendered a large package of lard from Walden meats.
