Saturday: martial arts, walks

I have to read _Circe_ by Madeline Miller for Monday’s book group. I read the first 20% today. It is more fun than I had anticipated. It’s a massive reframe of a lot of Greek mythology, but without changing the names / relationships / major events, which is odd. In this context, having the main character be picked on by everyone but turn out to be wicked powerful almost makes sense, but still feels like that gratuitous and annoying trope.
