Wednesday: walks, phone call
Nov. 4th, 2020 11:18 pmA. called from California; nice to hear from her. I was still feeling pretty down about the election when we chatted, however, over the course of the day, I have started feeling a bit better. More of the races that I contributed to have been called, and I was super excited that Cori Bush won! Need more exclamation marks, really.
I walked with M.
I walked by myself.
T. had his swim lesson and hung out with the sitter. I read about Denmark planning to cull all of its pretty freaking huge mink population (they apparently are the big supplier) because there is rampant covid, it has a mutation, and we know it can spread to humans. Gah. Dunno who had minks with mutated virus on their bingo card, but mark it down I guess.
While I was trying to avoid the news, I did make a number of phone calls, so that was nice. I have many things to take care of on Saturday: flu shots, drop off car to have winter tires put on, etc.
ETA: I also went through email and deleted a LOT of email. Nice, repetitive, needs to be done at intervals task that does not involve looking at news. Mostly.
