Wednesday: my sister departs
Aug. 26th, 2020 09:44 pmWe had a pretty mellow morning, but my sister and her family packed up and headed out. They forgot a water bottle and they may be missing a charging cable, but that is an impressive degree of Remembering Everything.
After an even more chill evening, R., A. and I walked over to SIL’s house. We had a lovely dinner. I had two barrel aged cocktails. R. and A. killed a lot of flies without in any way reducing the total number of flies. I killed only one or two, one of which had drawn blood. Fucking black flies.
I called the moving and storage place and gave them a credit card for the missed storage charges for other BIL’s stuff in storage. Nice to get that squared away. I still need to set up the recurring charge going foward.
