I did not go horseback riding, but the rest of them did. Seemed to go well.

Everyone but T. drove up to Champlain in an effort to visit Whistlepig and the cidery. Unfortunately, I did no research beyond locating places like this — I was unable on a brief look to tell whether anything was open to tour. Nothing is at Whistlepig, and A. just wanted to go back so we did. We did illicitly walk through part of the distillery building which would normally be open to the public, because the door was propped open and there were no signs saying we could not go in. We read some of the signs, saw someone, asked if it was okay to be there, learned it was not and left.

We were wearing masks and we did not touch anything.

It was fun to drive around a part of the country I have never been to.

Kamala Harris is the VP pick! I gave money to the Biden campaign and ordered a sign and a mask. I normally do not give money to men / Presidential candidates, as I think my money does more to support my values when directed to women candidates running to displace Republican representatives, senators and state level reps and so forth. However, when it is a two person ticket, with a woman in the second slot, I will occasionally donate in support because this does not happen nearly often enough (I have done this in a gubernatorial race as well).

I am sooooo excited, and very happy to note that a long-time friend who is active on FB is collecting and sharing very useful articles about Kamala Harris that address a lot of the ridiculous stuff that is said about her which is not true.
