Saturday: Nick’s, souvenirs, pin trading

I took A. over to the shop to buy some souvenirs. I had promised we would do that at least once. There was a cast member doing pin trading in an appropriately distanced way. That was fun. Buying pins was also fun. Actually, buying a mickey bar for A. was so ludicrously fun that it made me really wonder just how powerful a force Disney is in my life. I mean, I kinda new it was? But that rush of excitement over an ice cream bar was implausible and unexpected. It is what it is!

We had dinner at Nick’s. I got a half rack of ribs; they were awesome, as were the fries, the cole slaw and the two manhattans. Very distanced tables, and super empty when we got there at 4. It was more busy when we left but still very quiet.

I did most of the packing up when we got back to the hotel.
