Thursday: nice and quiet
Apr. 23rd, 2020 07:38 pmThe weather was remarkably pleasant. I walked with A. I walked with M.
T. and R. went out to pick up the chair that was repaired for us. That was nice. They stopped at the liquor store just over the line in NH, and bought (ok, I bought, but I was not there) a bunch of Widow Jane and some other things.
R. made fish and chips for dinner using the rest of the package of french fries that T. had not liked. They are steak fries and were delightful. The fish was pollock from Walden Meat. Really good.
I had not realized there were more Olaf at home shorts. Yay!
I found some cool backgrounds to use in upcoming Zoom meetings (cocktails, family, etc.).
A. had a pretty mellow day with school. She read the last 4 chapters of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, so I ordered her the other three books, and I also ordered her a boxed set of Edward Eager. And I got a kindle version of Fog Magic. Those all seemed like books I had loved at that age (she is so-so on Oz books).
