I have really been struggling to keep up with the avalanche of incoming requests, information, etc. The email purge of a few days ago did help (probably should keep unsubscribing, but for the moment, taking a break and just deleting things I am not going to do anything about). But that means I can now see the things I should do something about. So I talked to T. about an offer from the speech person about a weekly assignment for him, if he / we are not too overwhelmed. He said, I will try one and then see. I sent her that; she will be sending along info about boomlearning later.
A.’s day started amazing (did Khan Academy assignment on her iPad before breakfast!), then took a swift dive downhill (meltdown during morning meeting because she did not get to ask her PE teacher a question before he left morning meeting). She did recover, and finished all her work early, and did extra stuff on Just Dance after doing the Old Town Road dance (which was on the choice board as a youtube video of Just Dance but we just had her do it on the xbox because we have it). I did not drag her out on a walk because I figured the dancing counted as cardio (and apparently, the PE teacher thinks that, too).
I finally figured out that Messenger Kids on iPad is a separate app (duh) and started working through the process of getting A. set up with that; she had a connection request from a Seattle side friend on Monday. (She is currently having a blast figuring out stickers and emojis and so forth.)
Things arrived: a chair for T. that will need to be assembled, a cork board for the overflowing Disney pins for me that needs to be hung (and on a stud, not just the wallboard because full of pins those things get heavy), a box from Imperfect that I unloaded into the fridge. I repackaged leftovers into smaller containers and continued cleaning up. Someone unplugged the roomba charger (who knows, could have been me, neither I nor R. remember doing this or why we might have done this, but honestly, there has been so much stuff going on I could have forgotten), so roomba was dead; I ran Eufy downstairs instead.
My BIL figured out that Baldor will ship to normal households now. So, if you are trying to access food through the commercial side, that place looks absolutely high quality. I have no idea what their delivery area is; he is in NJ, but it looks like maybe they deliver in Boston area?
