It was not quite a routine day: we went to martial arts and Vic’s, but not NVUB. The SUV picked us up at a time that made NVUB not possible. But the rest of the routine was pleasing, and I was already packed.
We had dinner at Wahlburgers (well, 3 of us did). It was okay. There was near open conflict between one of the servers and one of the hosts. Yikes! Glad we got a different server. Food was okay, altho not memorably awesome.
The flight was pleasant.
Picking up the rental car was uneventful (time consuming, tho, because at LAX you have to take a shuttle bus). We got a Pacifica this time, brand new. We have never gotten one of those before, so that was interesting.
The drive out to Anaheim was fine. Hotel checkin was fine. Room and hotel are both quite nice. Looking forward to rides tomorrow!
