I had a delightful phone convo with J. Alas, K., canceled. Oh well!

I got the inspection sticker on my car. I only had to wait a little over an hour. Not bad, given I waited until the end of the month.

Piano lessons happened a little early today, so T. missed out, but it was nice to see our instructor F. again.

I had a nice walk with M.

It turned out that a tube broke down between the boost fan and something else; R. replaced it and now it is working again. Fingers crossed this minimizes lint distribution through the second floor.

No movie today; between homework and piano lessons, there was not time.

I did laundry.

I found a parsnip in the vegetable drawer in the fridge. I thought I had put them all into the chicken dish (which was awesome). I was like, dammit, I missed one. Then I thought, can you put this in home fries? And the answer is not just a resounding yes, it is a why do home fries not normally have parsnips in them? Because they should!!

I took the failed roll from last night (it went completely flat on the pan), which I had sliced in half the long way to see what it looked like, toasted it, and then used it as the crust for a pizza. It was tasty. I cooked the rainbow chard, and put some of that on. I had mushrooms. I had bell pepper. Etc. I do not know if home fried parsnips and bell pepper and pizza go together in any kind of nutritional sense, but it was a very satisfying meal. I also no longer feel like the fridge is over-full.
