Tuesday: ANOTHER snow day
Dec. 3rd, 2019 11:00 pmReally shaping up to be a loooooong holiday weekend. Very grateful MIL successfully got out of Logan yesterday because today would have been much trickier.
Sitter showed up again to take T. out in the afternoon. We were all very happy.
The kids helped me with holiday cards. Initially, this was a very bad experience: they would catch up on stamping and stuffing and start asking questions, which of course bogged down addressing entirely. I dismissed them, calmed down, did a few, called them back, explained that they had to NOT distract me while addressing, and from there it went pretty good. T. left partway through with the sitter, and A. was slow enough to be at a compatible pace with me. We got through the whole thing (barring the usual last minute ones).
Piano lesson was canceled.
M. came over for a visit but we did not walk. A. did the Elves Water Adventure lego kit; she was super bored.
T. saw A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. They liked it a lot.
