My MIL arrived today.
The sitter took A. to get santa photos.
I went to book group, and had a nice chat with R. on the way home.
I was a little concerned about how much T. might cough. R. had the idea to get him an inhaler, so I called the doctor’s office and chatted with a nurse and we got an old prescription renewed. Fingers crossed. I picked it up, and T. and I practiced and got that all figured out.
Book group selection was _A Room of One’s Own_ by Virginia Woolf. We were supposed to read that last week, but did not. We had a lively conversation, because this is a really core feminist text, and you can just launch from that. It is obviously Of Its Time and Place, but really worth reading, especially for its perceptive description of what it is like to be privilege adjacent, but without (full) privilege.
