Monday’s Activities Include: Getting On the Boat

Today we got on the boat! We weren’t sure when to arrive, so we got there around 10 or so. We dropped off rental cars and rode the shuttle over. We got through security with a lot of questions from T. We had lunch at Royal Palace, and the dairy free menu options on the menu worked fine for me. T. was anxious to leave. We went to the concierge lounge to understand more about how things worked and then we went to our room. Wow. Just. Wow. We went to Animator’s Palette for dinner, which was super fun — the screens are great and pretty involving.

We checked out the open house at Oceaneer’s Club, which was so so and dropped A. off for a bit at Oceaneer’s Lab, which ended in tears. While she was bored out of her skull there (we didn’t know that until later) we had a drink at the District Lounge, which was pretty cool, and if the concierge lounge hadn’t had free drinks from 5 - 10 p.m. every evening, we probably would have spent a lot more time at.

Quarter tab of Dramamine every 4 hours or so looks like it is going to work for me, which is great.
