Administrivia: No, I Haven't Been Gone and Am Not Incapacitated

I have not been traveling. I have not been incapacitated. I just haven't, apparently, been blogging. For two weeks. That can't be good! I'll do catch-up blogging over the next day or two, as if I had been on vacation.

Currently, I have a horrible head cold, and thus almost no voice. I hope future me and anyone else who is reading this feels a lot better than I currently do.

ETA: OK, I'm mostly caught up. Apparently, A. being sick followed by me being sick, between T-weekend and winter holiday prep just completely forced blogging right out for me. Not good! With the holiday cards and mailers out, and most (alas, not all!) presents sent out, hopefully things will be better from here.

Wednesday's Activities Include: Netflix, wrapping

The Netflix apps haven't been working on the Apple TVs. R. is in the process of updating software and deleting and replacing apps. Also, I changed the password since last we used Netflix, so I had to log everything back in again.

A. had asked for Netflix so she could binge watch (again) the Magic School Bus series. I pulled out the DVDs until we got this all figured out. When I was on Netflix on my iPad, I noticed Boss Baby as a series, and a few other odds and ends that she might be interested in. Today, she has been binge watching Boss Baby.

A bunch of presents I ordered earlier in the week have been arriving here and elsewhere, and also a few ordered by friends. I wrapped things. The tree looks populated now.

I also vacuumed the master bedroom. I got a haircut. The post office and the markets were closed, however, so financial business and mailing another holiday card and another holiday photo mailer will have to wait until tomorrow. I accidentally wore all black for the national day of mourning for GHWB. If I'd been thinking, I wouldn't have. Oh well! I canceled my phone call with K. (wah! no voice!) but wound up chatting briefly when my broker called me back and we shot the shit a bit about what the slowdown in the housing market means, if anything.
