R. went for an 85 mile bike ride.
Meanwhile, A. and I drove down to Newton to go to Blacker’s Bakery in search of nut-free baked goodies for a guest at T.’s birthday party tomorrow. I bought a Fancy Schmancy Cupcake (yellow cake, covered in sprinkles), and then bought two “kid friendly” (read, not insanely huge) cupcakes, one yellow and one chocolate, both pink frosting, for A. and I to try. She had a cake pop, which she liked, so it was a little mysterious that she completely disliked the chocolate cupcake. We had a couple bites out of it and put it back for later, since I wasn’t really hungry.
We rested in glorious AC for a while, then, when R. got home, we went to Carver Hill to pick blueberries. We got 2 small containers and 1 large — A. wanted to keep picking so we did. We got her some maple sugar candies, but she wound up not liking those, either.
ETA: Oh, and I had a morning walk with M.
