We had a good day at StoryLand. It did not rain as predicted and it was hotter than predicted. We got the prepaid photo pass that I failed to use on opening weekend connected to R.'s season pass, and I got the sticker for the premium pass so I could use the merch / dining discount.
Since opening and closing weekend tend to be kind of cold for water rides, we did a lot of those. Then, when A. was done with being wet, we changed back to dry clothes (planning!) and got her face painted.
We rested at the hotel for a while before having dinner at Barley and Salt. I really like that restaurant, way better than Applebee's or the 99, which were our previous mainstays. Altho I still miss going to the thai restaurant, but R. just isn't interested in that, and of course the kids have to be fed elsewhere and it probably isn't worth the bother.
