My walking partner notes that on a TV show (probably more than one), someone on a stakeout wants to pee, and the other person on the stakeout hands over a water bottle. There was a truly awful, mean spirited road trip movie a year ago or so, where the _mother_ handed the young son a bottle, because she didn’t want to stop the van.
I mention this, because there is an undercover writer at Amazon story making the rounds about people so overworked that they aren’t able to take bathroom breaks. And they probably are! Altho good luck getting this administration to do any labor law enforcement. I say that they probably are creating a culture where people pee in bottles rather than pee in a urinal or a toilet, because it’s super common everywhere else. It would actually be strange if Amazon _didn’t_ have people peeing in bottles.

Also, when I was a lot younger, I dated young men who routinely referred to Snapple bottles as pee bottles. So it isn’t like this is a new phenomenon.
I actually sort of wonder who the audience for a Shocking! People Peeing in Bottles! Story could possibly be. Is there actually any shock value left here? Who exactly is _that_ sheltered?
ETA: I found someone who was shocked! A man! A. is so adorably civilized.
