R. took T. to martial arts and then LHS for his community service (Rise Against Hunger), which is a 6th grade requirement (pretty low key requirement — they told T. about this opportunity to meet the requirement, and he only needed to do 1 hour anyway) for health class. I took A. to the dollar store, where we bought random Easter decorations and then met R. and T. at Red Raven for lunch. We left my car parked there while we went to LegoLand, where we met a friend of T.’s and that friend’s parents (we’ve done this kind of outing with them before and always have a nice time). Legoland is LOUD. We did the rides, the show, raced some lego vehicles, looked at the super awesome Boston models, looked at the moderately awesome Attack of the Clones Star Wars models, bought some merch and were very relieved to have a quiet ride home. R. and A. had dinner at home. T. and I went to Julie’s Place.

T.’s friend’s family sent one member out to track down ear plugs. I used my new Eargasm (yeah, that is a brand name in search of a scandal) ear plugs, which worked pretty well, and supplied ear plugs to R. as well. I feel like I carry around a half dozen ear plugs now all the time, which is a weird sort of thing to do, especially weird when I sometimes I think I need twice as many as that, even.
