My phone call with K. was canceled; it is mysteriously wedding season or at least wedding shower season in the Seattle area, apparently.
The weather is appalling; we have another "bomb cyclone", which I think means rapidly changing temperature and associated high winds. But I could be wrong. Driving to the dentist (uneventful dentist cleaning), I saw a tree down on a house. So I took the highway home, and had trouble keeping a steady course in my lane because of the wind. R. had a cleaning before me and we met at the package store after. I spent a ludicrous amount of money on mostly whisky, altho I believe there were cherries, sherry and brandy in there, too. Actually, a lot of the dollar amount was in the brandy, specifically.
M. came for a visit, but we did not walk, due to weather.
I took the kids down to Lexington for a new, indoor, station based exercise activity that is track related. A. melted down almost immediately, so we spent the balance of the time in the lobby. It is a very nice lobby. R. showed up and I took T. to dinner at Via Lago (the sitter canceled due to Weather). We had been planning a post-activity play date, but, Weather. In theory, there should have been a Movie Night at the Rec Center in Acton, but that had been canceled earlier due to low participation.
