Breakfast at Homewood Suites was fine. They have a regular waffle iron and a Mickey waffle iron. Their bagels are normal sized, which is unusual and wonderful.

We spent the second day at Universal at Islands of Adventure and then once we started doing Harry Potter and got wands, A. didn't want to quit so we rode the train over to Universal and continued in Diagon Alley. She wanted to repeat the Twirl and Hurl, also. We all loved the Gringott's bank ride. A. and I enjoyed the Forbidden Adventure and the Flight of the Hippogriff. T. and R. rode the dueling dragons.

When we left, we drove to Beach Club Villas at WDW. We were unable to check in immediately because our room wasn't ready (at almost 4 pm!), which I found stressful. We swam at Stormalong Bay. We did finally get checked into the room, however, there were issues at checkin that have caused me to rethink leaving all the old magic bands active; I'm going to go collect them all and deactivate everything.

The room layout of the 2 bedroom BCV is a little weird. The bedroom with two queen beds has a bathroom that is split up in pieces that include a toilet stool, a room with a shower and a pedastal sink, and then the part that is sort of part of the bedroom that includes a vanity and a big, jetted tub. The closet is accessed through that portion. Figuring out the right doors to go through/leave open is tricky.

We were joined by C., R.'s mother, at BCV.
