Today, T. did not want to get up. There has been a cold going around and he felt very tired. My Dutch lesson had already been rescheduled, so I did not care to make a big deal about it. A. went to school (I'll probably wind up with her home in a day or two) and T. and I snuggled in my bed. Then he finally wanted breakfast, and requested salt and vinegar potato chips, which I didn't want him eating in my bed, so we switched to his bed. Eventually, we went downstairs and snuggled on the couch and watched some SuperWhy (A. is done with SuperWhy haven't watched all the episodes at least once and is now onto WordWorld). He also spent a lot of time -- this is one of his primary activities recently, using his cell phone to "drive" along streets using street view on google maps. He has _way_ better local area knowledge at this point than I do and he doesn't drive yet.

A little after eleven , he got up and started running back and forth, so I asked him if he wanted to go to school. If he had said no, I would have asked him to settle down, but he said yes, so we both got dressed and found shoes, packed up his bag and I drove him to school.

Which meant I got to watch some TV I don't care to watch with a small child in the room and I got to go for a walk by myself and I got to go for a walk with my walking partner M.

And I bet he'll be quite tired by the time he comes home today, which is fine by me.
