no jury duty
Mar. 5th, 2011 11:29 pmWeeks and weeks ago, I got a jury summons, the date of which is next Monday. However, Friday afternoon I got the e-mail telling me not to show up.
On the one hand, as my somewhat anxious and very OCD friend and service coordinator K. would say, I can still be called at any time, whereas showing up and not having to do anything would give me a guaranteed 3 years off. On the other hand, the whole summons process gives you a couple months notice, so I just do not care.
