WaPo does a longish profile of Brooksley Born, the head of the CFTC late in the Clinton administration who wanted to start the process of understanding non-agricultural commodities so we could start regulating them.
Clearly, a very smart and very wise woman, responsible in every respect.
Also, the article is further evidence for the thesis that Larry Summers is Evil.
