household size, stimulus, housing tax credit rambling

Calculated Risk discusses the housing tax credit at:

I agree with almost everything he says except this:

"Also, it seems the goal of any stimulus should be to create more households, not just move people from renting to owning."

Really? What about that whole climate change/energy policy thing and densifying?
