Wednesday: date night!

The kids went to school. They also had dinner out with the babysitter, while R. and I went to Concord Rapscallion. That was fun! I had not been out to dinner for a little while (which was fine, because there were many meals out in December).

I was chatting online with a friend, and I discovered an entirely new context for decluttering: my password manager. I was looking at stuff in there going, I’m never going to use that account again. I logged into it, figured out how to delete it, and then deleted it from the password manager. Fun! Feels very satisfying. I have no idea if this is a useful activity. I did decline to re-up BitGym, since I ultimately concluded that immersive treadmill videos were a little too prone to giving me headaches; if I start using the treadmill this winter, I’ll probably try podcasts or audiobooks instead. Canceling before it auto-renewed probably mostly justified the rest of the time spent on clearing out accounts.

So far, the only thing that I haven’t been able to easily delete is flocabulary.

I had a great convo with J. I also had a delightful zoom with I. She’s coming to visit in the spring; I’m very excited!
