I called National Grid and got a customer ID for the new property. That turned out to not be particularly difficult, so, yay!

I walked with M., after first doing the 1 mile loop by myself. Later, R. and I walked over to the high school and back to get a sense of how much time we need to have A. allow to do that when she starts school in about a week.

I made cole slaw yesterday, and included some of the peppers. Really yummy! I also had some of the peach and berry with pastry thing I made last night. The pastry is still very tasty, and the texture is improving. I’ve been experimenting with un-measured king arthur special patent, oil, water and salt. Since measuring has never worked for me, and I really prefer oil to fake butter, I figured I’d just starting experimenting and see how it goes, and it has been getting steadily better. Since it started edible, this is a really unexpectedly good outcome.

A Halara order arrived. It’s pink, tennis skirt length, pocket in the shorts under, sorta pleated. A. is not sure whether she likes it or not. I really like it, altho obviously I would prefer other than pink, but I can work with this.

Yesterday, the Sakroots order arrived, and I really like the Loyola backpack. It has a weird strap setup where you can switch between messenger bag / shoulder and backpack. I was not at all sure how that would work, but it seems good. I’m planning on using it with the large G-Ro backpack for the next trip to Florida. The Loyola has side pockets (for water bottle, umbrella, whatever), which is crucial for theme park, but I obviously was going to have the bigger backpack on for the travel days. This lets me wear the G-Ro on my back, the Loyola cross body, possibly with the smaller phone crossbody that I got with it as a bundle. I can then roll A.’s Travelpro with the tote on top. In theory, anyway, this would me I could get me and A. through an airport without anyone else’s assistance, which is A Goal, at least for me. R. was willing to help out on the Euro travel legs (he had my roller stacked on his, and then I had my backpack and A.’s stack); it would have been significantly trickier to do those bags all by myself.
