Thursday Dutch lesson, new restaurant

I dropped A. off then went to Boston Interiors. I haven’t ever been, and it felt like a lapse. It’s not as weird as Cabot House, or as nice as Circle, but nice enough. I tried a lot of their power loveseat recliners, since I had been discussing those with my sister. She’s right — both her and B. will want the larger scaled ones because my feet go past the end of the foot rest. Hers might or might not, but B.’s definitely will.

R. and I had dinner at Luna Mexican which is in the As Good As It Gets / Bickfords location but wow is it different inside. I had the Sol y Sombre spicy cocktail which was yummy, and chicken mole. Absolutely will return.

I had another Dutch lesson, and the new dog and I are definitely getting along really well, which is fun. It’s really nice to get an opportunity to actually speak. A. asks fun, mildly intrusive personal questions which is awesome because it’s exactly the type of conversation I’m likely to have with my Dutch family so practicing is great. I showed him some pictures of the house and some of the plan view drawings to help with explaining things.
