It’s spring break for J.’s kids, so no phone call today. A. and I did go to therapy so we had that conversation, which was enjoyable.
R. and I went out to dinner at Adelita’s, where I left my scarf so I’ll have to retrieve that tomorrow. Or whenever. I had a mezcal flight which, while awesome, reminds me that I really do prefer whisky. And I had the coconut sorbet, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, I also had the fish tacos and guac with the chips and salsa that arrive at the beginning, so I ate way too much. Oh well.
I have two zoom meetings in the morning, one with the person who is pushing to sign T. up for DDS (I think she gets it now why that does not make sense but for whatever reason she still wants to “meet” me, which, sure, fine, whatever), and the other is about window treatments for the new house.
I woke up this morning somewhat confused receiving a robo call from National Grid wanting me to call them about a bill or go online or whatever. It occurred to me that I hadn’t gotten a billing notification from them since we switched from the temp service to the permanent one, and I tried to figure that out but failed. I called J. at the builder and she made efforts to figure it out but that didn’t happen by the end of the day so after dinner, I dug around in the call tree at Ngrid, got an account number from them (different from the many numbers I had already, but which weren’t working for account linking purposes on the website) and connected that account to my dashboard and discovered two months of billing. Honestly, they were pretty patient. I suspect this is not the first time they’ve had this kind of transition issue.
