Saturday: walk, planning
Oct. 19th, 2024 07:35 pmI walked with M.
I texted my cousin and then we chatted on the phone, about Disney and also about possibly helping Not Son get some driving practice. I texted to put them in touch with each other.
I started going over the electrical panels. All kinds of good stuff discovered there, including some nonsense about the bottle filler. The architect responded to my request for a drinking fountain / bottle filler like in the airport with a bottle filler only partially recessed into the wall. But, it turns out he failed to — and everyone else failed to — identify a location for the remote chiller! Or wire or plumb the remote chiller! Or, for that matter, plumb the drain for the bottle filler. So, I went back to what I wanted, and sent emails and proceeded on my merry way. There is definitely a lot of overkill going on with the dedicated circuits in the bar (removed 3 and downsized several, in a proposal) and 20 amps for the bottle filler is insane.
I even updated the project managers and the architect on my shenanigans. I am Behaving. Sort of.
I still need to try to get BIM collaborate working, and read a book for book group, but otherwise, I’m doing pretty well.
