Today’s testing was reading assessment, an adaptive assessment by MAP (?), which A. had zero issues with. Things went well, which is nice. She still has the math assessment and more MindPrints.

I walked with M.

I had a lovely phone call with K.

A couple people actually sent messages saying they wouldn’t be at the cocktail zoom tonight, which was a bummer, but better than many just not showing up at all, which was basically last week. I was wondering if maybe I smelled bad (<— goofy joke, obviously, because zoom).

I got an email from the realtor we were working with years ago in Northampton, and a text from another realtor in the area. Someone claimed to be R. (!!!) and said they wanted to sell the property. The realtor went to look at it, and concluded that this was fakey fakey and told the woman we’d been working with years ago, who relayed it to us. I contacted the lawyer; he’s going to tell everyone to be alert to this kind of scam, and said I could report it to the police. I called the police out there, and they said to report it here where I currently live, so we did. We may follow up further next week. Weird stuff.

We ran some errands — donated some books, picked up R.’s fisherman’s sweater which he had cleaned. Later I went grocery shopping and checked in at the Residence Inn in Concord and dropped off a bunch of groceries for J. and the kids. I will be retrieving them from the airport in a few hours.

I got the bill for the first contract with Fusion and paid it. Probably next week we’ll officially remove A. from ABRHS? Unclear on the correct timing of that step; we’ve got a bag of stuff to return to them, too.
