I slept in a bit, but was still up around 8:30. I turned off A.’s noise machine and opened her curtains around 9, and got her breakfast going.
I walked with M.
I had a nice long phone convo with K.
I took a Claritin — I had taken a Zyrtec last night, but it is okay to double up a bit. It helped some, as did a nap between the walk and phone call. That left ear is still a little weird, but not as bad.
I did some laundry.
A. and I made (are making, as I type this) some granola. We saw a TikTok and it looked pretty easy, and she likes granola bars so it seemed worth a try. It smells great.
I peeled and chopped a kohlrabi and a cucumber, because I remembered those being a really good combination with a coleslaw type dressing last year. It continues to be very tasty. I put it in the fridge to soften up a bit, and will have some for dinner. Right now, I am drinking a Briefcase Porter. This is one of my favorites.

We used unsalted cashews and peanuts for the nuts and raisins for the dried fruit. And we did mix in some chocolate chips.
The granola was super tasty.
Also, I took some berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) that were getting a little old looking and did a loaf pan of berries topped with granola. Mmmmm. I made her a burger (made the patty small) and a mushroom omelette for me, but mostly, this evening was about home made granola. Who even knew.
