I walked with M.

I made blondies and cooked bacon.

I read _Pretending He’s Mine_ by Mia Sosa. This is the second book in Love on Cue; I bought it about 5 or so years ago, and had read the first book but somehow never got around to reading this one. More somewhat contrived obstruction to getting together as a couple, but this one becomes _so_ contrived and is deployed for so much humor that I really liked it. In this particular case, both characters grow up a lot over the course of the book, which is nice, in that they start with some of the same problems, and wind up helping each other get over themselves.

I’ll almost certainly read more in both trilogies (this one and Suits Undone), but I’m going to continue to read more books that I already own first.

In Matt Levine’s column today, there is a typo! The word public is missing a letter. I _live_ for that typo. I personally want to know if he slipped that one in on purpose, or if it was legitimately an accident. Given how much Elon Musk was in that column, I’m leaning towards intentionality for the sake of humor.
