Saturday: very, very cold
Feb. 4th, 2023 10:32 pmI stayed indoors. It was very cold outdoors. I went out briefly to get the mail.
I worked on lego. I worked on R.’s ATP racing puzzle.
R. cooked bacon.
T. had a busy day — martial arts, vic’s, work. No piano lesson; teacher is having a great time in New Orleans. Basketball was canceled because a window blew in at the facility.
It’s supposed to warm up a fair amount tomorrow. I sure hope it does.
I watched _Glass Onion_, finally. It was delightful. I really like Janelle Monae.
I also downloaded pictures from UO. I went to get stuff from the most recent trip, but ultimately also downloaded things from all the way back to November 2019. Kind of exciting!
Oh, and I had a really nice phone call with J.
I’ve been looking over lists of things that I’ve meant to watch for a really long time. I’m starting to think that I really need to take much more seriously what I enjoy watching and what I don’t really enjoy watching. I think I keep trying to make myself watch things that are recommended by people I absolutely adore, but whose tastes are wildly different from mine. Like, I’ve got a recommendation for “Ugly Delicious”. I just looked at it and went, wait, that’s David Change. I read a book by him. I _know_ I’m not going to like that show. And I’m starting to wonder if this is true of a _lot_ of stuff on my list.
