Happy Halloween / Samhain / All Hallows!
Oct. 31st, 2022 11:00 pmT. ran the front door. We got few trick or treaters but they were all very well-behaved.
A. went over to Patriot Hill neighborhood to meet a friend and a FOAF to trick or treat over there. They had a nice time, altho she came back very tired.
Neither had any homework. There was no district rule, but apparently the teachers generally felt like this was the Right Thing to Do.
A. had had a meltdown earlier in the day and I got a call about it. But she got it together apparently with a drink, the rest of her orange and an ibuprofen. Some days are just hard.
I walked with M.
I did the long walk by myself. I had a phone call with my sister that didn’t go very well. I’m going to be researching outrage, because I’ve been talking about outrage for years now and I probably should actually take a look at what over people have to say about it.
Weather was very, very temperate.
