Saturday: some routine
Apr. 9th, 2022 12:21 pmI took T. to martial arts and Vic’s.
T. did his “written” test for the learner’s permit, and he did great. We figured out how to get it printed out from his chromebook and I also had him save an image of it to his google drive so that if something happens to the print out, we can print it out again.
I made carrot and raisin salad, with the white balsalmic vinegar that R. requested, and maple syrup and oil. It smells great.
I am making Yet Another Carrot Cake, even tho I am out of ginger root powder / powdered ginger. This is very annoying! It was delivered yesterday, at least, an amazon barcoded package, but alas, the actual package label said Burdock Root, so I’m waiting for round 2 of this effort. Reverse logistics being expensive and hard, they didn’t even want to see a picture of the package; they just said do you want to reorder the exact same thing and I was like yeah sure, and they were don’t even send it back. I posted on FB about it and have someone who wants the Burdock Root (they’d been thinking of trying it); I just need to figure out how to best get it to her. We’ll be seeing her mom later today (to help her mom hang a picture); if they will be getting together soon, that might be the easiest way to move it along without extra trips or shipping.
