I walked with M. We got lucky, and it stopped raining.
I. came over. We had planned to go to Sturbridge, but I decided it would be less risky in terms of weather to do things a bit closer in. We went to Wachusett, where the Raspberry Sour was excellent, but not available in a take-home format. The stouts were also really good; I got a crowler of the Bonspiel even though I had thought I would NOT get another crowler.
At Nashoba Valley Winery, we had some tapas (the eggplant, hummus, and the charcuterie), a bottle of the Big Bad Wolf stout, which was amazing, and Perry (a pear cider, which was good). We also did a tasting round. I ultimately, and somewhat surprisingly, bought two bottles of Vodka — the one we had liked, and another called FUP, and proceeds from which go to Ukraine.
From there, we went to Sterling Street Brewery, which had as good a vibe as Lamplighter, maybe a bit better. They have trivia on Wednesdays starting at 7 and are absolutely delightful. Their kambucha is wonderful, but we also liked their stouts, and their sour.
We went for a walk back at the house. Our beer tour of Massachusetts is drawing to a close, and while my liver is probably relieved, I, personally am gonna be a bit sad. This was a ton of fun.
