Tuesday: return to school, walks
Mar. 22nd, 2022 11:00 pmA. went back to school and made it through the whole day. Very nice! She even did some homework.
We had brisket tacos for dinner — I had mine with cole slaw. In no way any kind of authentic but super delicious. I followed it up with a couple macaroons, dipped in melted chocolate (that also had coconut in it). Mmmm. However, I was then way too full, so I went for a 3 mile walk and chatted with my sister. I didn’t intend to walk that long, so it was three loops instead of one long loop. The stars were out. It was really nice.
I walked with M. earlier in the day.
R. went to Costco. I also opened up all three bags of wheat and refilled the plastic bins; they were all kind of low. Apparently, I currently have over a hundred pounds of wheat in the pantry — 45 each of soft red (Lily) and hard red (Turkey Red), and about 15 of the Palouse soft white. I would say I don’t know what I was thinking, but I know exactly what I was thinking. I will use it up, so why not.
I had a really delightful phone call with K.
