Implausibly, It Is Only Tuesday
Oct. 5th, 2021 08:52 pmI did finally work on taxes. So, there’s that! I still need to run error check on the federal, and then we need to probably poke at the state taxes. But everything is now entered (I think!).
I did laundry.
I finished building the Lego Pickup Truck. It is really amazing. It’s a very tricky build, at least it was for me. I don’t usually build vehicles, so maybe all vehicles are like this? The steering wheel actually turns the front wheels of the truck. Also, it is a super beautiful red. Lots of nostalgia — milk can, the tail gate has a sticker that makes it look like the metal is stamped Lego (instead of International or whatever). It has nice, seasonal accessories for decor. Really gorgeous!
I dis-assembled Arendelle Castle, and parted it into storage. I’m also putting away the legos that I ordered extra of, when I did the last order for Discworld, and the orders for Droomvlucht. I put Droomvlucht where Arendelle was, and the Truck went onto the altar. I’ve ordered some pieces for a very small MOC-Architecture type build of Petra, but I kind of want to either find a big MOC to build, or design something myself. I have some really, really great pieces in lovely colors now.
We had burgers for dinner. That was nice.
