I walked with M.

I did the 3 mile loop by myself.

T. was home all day, because A. went with the sitter. We played the Sponge Bob themed Operation a couple times and Candyland. He’s getting noticeably better at Operation. This may actually qualify as fine motor / motor planning practice.

I cooked the potato gnocchi I got from Imperfect Foods last week (this week’s box arrived and I cooked the greens and mushrooms also). I had it with marinara sauce, mushrooms, bell peppers, kale. I do not think I have ever had gnocchi before (often has milk products involved, so never got around to trying it). It was amazing. I must do this again.

The sitter and A. got a takeout order from Welly’s. She wanted chicken fingers and wound up with chicken bites, which have buffalo sauce on them, so that did not go over well. They went back to get the fingers, and brought the leftover bites home. I had half and R. had half. Wow. Restaurant food is so amazing when you don’t have it for a few weeks. I mean, our food is awesome, but our food is healthy, and there is this addictive component to restaurant food that really is high impact when you do not normally eat it. Sorta like that first cup of coffee or tea when you have been abstaining from caffeine for a month.
