Tuesday: kids in school! Walks
Oct. 29th, 2019 04:12 pmI walked with J. She needed pins for a kid costume and I have some, so I saved her some time today and she was willing to spend it walking with me instead. Yay!
I walked with M.
I chatted with J. Nice long convo.
I roombad downstairs and caught up on dishes and laundry. I took the kale salad from the Horseshoe on Saturday leftovers, the crusts of rolls (same) and some mustard. I heated up the kale (including part of the bacon from the salad and part of the chicken), and stuffed it into the toasted roll crusts with some mustard. It was yummy, and supplemented with a green salad and A.’s leftover french fries (also from the Horseshoe). I think the rest of the bacon and the rest of the chicken will be dinner, but I am still trying to figure out what that will go with. Maybe some pasta.
A. took her math test at school and generally caught up for the missed two days of school. The teacher was very kind about the whole thing.
