Tuesday: date night
Jul. 30th, 2019 11:00 pmI had a great conversation with J. today.
R. and I had an (early) date night. We went to Rapscallion’s in Concord, where I received a compliment on my hair. It was the very nice server we sometimes have who is so excellent about remembering every one of our food restrictions, which is miraculous. His girlfriend had done her hair blue the night before, so he is in a noticing mood. Hair colors not found in nature are great fun!
I had a great conversation with K. this evening.
I had a great conversation with R., my Priestess, after that. She is starting to work on Tarot again, and has identified a place that will let her use their space once a week or however often she would like to do a study group. I am so excited to hear about this, and look forward to developments.
It was a super tough day for part of our extended family, but everyone is doing the best they can and being loving and supportive and communicative so I feel confidence that while this is a difficult time, it has the potential to lead to improvements in many ways in the future. Apologies for vagueness. I feel gratitude to be a part of such a loving family, and also for having over the last few years learned better communication patterns and strategies for difficult times. Difficult is still difficult, but it is wonderful to have confidence that I am not actually making things worse.
