Today, T. forgot his lunch and the cafeteria was closed. So I went to the closest Subway and they were out of Italian bread. Then I went to the Subway on Great Road, got his sandwich, a juice box and a doritos bag and took it over to his school in Littleton where I dropped it off.
Then, I took my houseguests to the Amtrak station in Westwood, where I dropped them off. I am sad to see them go, but wish them all the best on their next adventures!
After that, I went home, cooked some pad thai (out of eggs! Oh no! But still not vegan because fish sauce), and then went to pick up A. After bringing her home and getting her lunch going, T. came home, the babysitter arrived and M. arrived. T. and the sitter left to go trick or treating in Hudson with the babysitter's family (adult daughter and grandkids and let me tell you, the resulting pictures are officially The Cutest). I hung out with M. while A. finished her lunch, advanced some laundry and put four winter tires in the loaner. Then A. and I drove out to Sudbury to leave the winter tires to be put onto the almost finished being repaired i3. Fingers crossed, I think I get it back tomorrow. Woot!
On the way home from Sudbury, I bribed A. with promises of chocolate cake to convince her to go grocery shopping with me. I forgot my shopping bags in the car (haven't done that in a while!) so now we have lots of plastic bags again. Oh well! But we also have food for breakfast and lunch and so forth.
I'm really hoping that any further driving today is in town only. I've seen about enough of the rest of Metrowest for the day.
