Not tremendously exciting. We were in historic Concord Center not long ago to go to the Walden Grille. Very cute. Touristy. Not overwhelmingly friendly, which is kinda stunning. I'm used to going places with A. in the stroller and have everyone fall all over the stroller because OMG it's a BABY! And just one smile during the whole errand. Weird. Time of day? Who knows. Also, very, very, very few men. Almost entirely women. Which makes the lack of baby-interest even more incomprehensible.

Other than that, two boxes of bike crap arrived, including a "Women's" bike helmet which is way too fucking small. Hardly surprising, given that the upper limit on the range on the sticker inside is a whole 3 centimeters larger than the upper limit on T.'s helmet. And yes, T. is not yet 4. I guess I'll put it away until A. is a little older. Apparently not much older.

Also in the boxes: a Hebie kickstand (that is some serious kickstand), a couple Axa Defenders and plug in chains, an Electra front tray, a bottle cage, a jersey for R., a cupholder and bell for the Townie and probably more stuff I'm not thinking of right this instant. Belmont Wheelworks called about the hub dynamo and wheel and it turns out they have two Burley Kazoos in stock, complete with Moose Racks and they are willing to check and see if they can be installed on the Bianchi when I bring it in for the hub on Friday (or possibly Saturday).

I still haven't figured out what kind of bike to get for B. I'm thinking maybe an Electra Betty. R. thinks I should get a Rans, and give her my Townie, but she's concerned about taking the kids out on the bike, so there's little to no point in turning over the mamabike to someone who isn't going to use the bobikes. We'll see. If the Kazoo turns out well, I may get B. (B.'s man) a moose rack for his mongoose, instead of doing the bike seat mount + front tray to xport the balance bike and T. if he gets tired or unwieldy while out on the bike trail. I found out while chatty with M. on FB last night that T. has been on a trailabike like thing and didn't want to get off. See, Farm Town isn't JUST a waste of time. I learn important things, too.
