short update

Bridal shower went well, altho visiting J. and C. after was too much for Teddy. At shower sliced open right index finger so typing is difficult. Did not get stitches. J., a caterer, (different from previous J.) put a butterfly on it (nice job, right tightness) and it had already sealed 6 hours later so I'm going to try to trust this whole process but boy does it hurt (expected -- so did the last time I sliced open a finger). No tendon at risk; right by the cuticle along the nail up to the tip.
