Yesterday was a very, very good day.

I started trying to transfer auto insurance and assorted other mundane items to my new home shortly after I arrived. I knew the holiday season would make this difficult. I did not realize the holiday season would officially end with MLKjr Day. But it did, and the very next day, all kinds of wonderful things finally worked out. I got the car registered (which means taxes on it got paid) and plates for it (whoops need to put those on), got a NH driver's license, got NH car insurance, got a local checking account (should drastically cut back on ATM fees), and registered to vote. Best of all, a very nice lady returned my calls to tell me the place Roland and I want to rent for our wedding is available for either of the Saturdays in August we have in mind. Wow.

I am still tired.

I made it to the gym 4 times last week, one shy of the 5 I was shooting for. I try again this week. Hopefully we will also make it to a rock gym this week since I missed last week. We could have gone last night, but I was completely fried. Maybe tonight, maybe Thursday. Friday and Saturday we'll be going down to Boston.

In the meantime, I continue to putter around, slowly investigating the candidates and sorting through mail in an effort to figure out what should be done next to save me further trouble later.
