Sick Kid

T. is really, really sick. 101 fever. Wanted me to sleep in his room last night (I did). Really swollen tonsils. Threw up this morning. He definitely has the flu, so I feel confident that we will all have it in short order.

In the meantime, his sick food is apparently ginger ale (a perennial favorite in this house) and chocolate chip cookies -- I'm more partial to crackers, but as long as it gets calories in him, I don't really care.

After watching some angry birds videos on youtube, he is asleep on the couch. Poor little guy.

Meanwhile, A. is busy taping everything either to other parts of itself, or something else.

I'm using this opportunity to upload pictures to Flickr. I think R. is slightly perturbed that I'm deleting from the hard drive on the laptop as I go, but that was sort of the point of this whole exercise: Not Having to Maintain a Local Copy. Given how many of my photos are pictures of him taking pictures, I don't think he's really going to lose anything.

R. is out for a walk; I went to the library to sign up the genealogy society to have access to the meeting room there.

102 this afternoon. Staggering ibuprofen and acetaminophen...

Oh, that sounds miserable. Hope he's better soon. Cross fingers you won't get it. My sister was visiting us with the most horrible cold, possibly the end of flu, not sure, and not one of us got it, so you never know.

Oh, no. I'm so sorry.

The girls were sick for over 2 weeks. I'm finally feeling better. I hope T. isn't sick that long.

He's got the usual post-illness cough.
It's a lot less croupy than usual.
But I expect it to hang on for a while.
